Alt+Home is a keyboard shortcut most commonly used to open the home page in the active tab. Below are other programs that use this keyboard shortcut and related information.
How to use the Alt+Home keyboard shortcut
To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Alt key, and while continuing to hold, press Home key.
Alt+Home in Internet browsers
In all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera), pressing Alt+Home opens the browser home page in the active tab.
Alt+Home in Microsoft Word
In Microsoft Word, pressing Alt+Home moves to the first cell in the current row of a table.
Note
If you're outside of a table, Alt+Home does nothing.
