Compromised

When describing computer security, compromised is when an account, system, data, or other object is exposed, made vulnerable, or weakened. For example, when an account is compromised, others can access that account without permission. A system may become compromised when exposed to malware that allows its security measures to be bypassed. Finally, private data may be compromised if it's mistakenly posted online in an area anyone can read or scrape.
When something is compromised, it doesn't always mean it's been abused. For example, accounts compromised because of a data breach have not all been logged in to by a hacker. However, that account information is available and could be abused, which is why you should always use a different password for each account.
