Mibbit

A web-based IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client created by Jimmy Moore that allowed anyone to connect to IRC from within their browser. Using Mibbit, any website or company can implement a chat for their visitors. For example, Computer Hope chat used Mibbit to connect all its users so they may talk about computers and assist with computer problems.
Mibbit announced the site would be shutting down on August 30, 2024, because it was no longer commercially viable.
