Pagination

The process of taking a complete document and breaking it into separate pages for printing or viewing called pagination. In a word processor, pagination is automatic, happening when a user exceeds a certain number of characters or spaces. Once that threshold is reached, a page break is inserted into the document.
When viewing a document, a user may experience improper pagination if that window is an abnormal size or if the columns or rows are improperly set.
