Port triggering
Updated: 11/12/2024 by Computer Hope
Port triggering is a routing configuration where a firewall opens a closed network port when triggered by a specific network event. For example, a computer inside the firewall sending outgoing traffic on port 1234 may trigger the firewall to open port 2345 for incoming traffic.
