Quit
Updated: 11/12/2024 by Computer Hope
Quit means ending a session or program by purposely closing the application. For example, typing quit in an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) command line and then pressing the Enter quits the session.
Tip
When quitting a program in a GUI (Graphical User Interface), like Windows, it's more appropriate to say you're closing a program.
Tip
In command line commands, programs, and scripts, pressing Q and then Enter is used to quit.
