Updated: 10/03/2024 by Computer Hope

The term sharpness describes the overall clarity of a computer display's picture or text. Commonly, the more sharp an image, text, or display is, the better it looks. For example, a printer that prints at 72 DPI (Dots Per Inch) has less sharpness than 300 DPI.
