Throwaway account

A throwaway account is a temporary user account utilized only for a specific purpose. Its intended use is to provide anonymity and the freedom to communicate with impunity. For example, a throwaway account could be used on a forum to communicate a personal experiences without giving away your real life identity.

A throwaway account may also be called a burner e-mail, disposable account, disposable e-mail, ephemeral account, or a temporary account.
