Windows Insider
Updated: 12/06/2024 by Computer Hope

Introduced with the Windows 10 update in 2014, Windows Insider is an optional Windows feature that lets you test early-access versions of the operating system before available to the public. Users opt-in with their Microsoft account and become Windows Insiders, giving them the option to install any experimental version of Windows made available through the program. If they find that they don't like using these new features, they can provide feedback to Microsoft, and switch back to the latest official Windows release.
