Are spaces allowed in e-mails?

Question:

Are spaces allowed in e-mails?

Answer:

Just like a Internet URL no spaces are allowed in an e-mail address. However, names can be broken up using a period; for example, John Smith may have an e-mail address: john.smith@computerhope.com or john.s@computerhope.com because no spaces are allowed in the e-mail address.

If you're wanting to send multiple e-mail addresses, depending on the e-mail client you're using, often e-mail addresses are separated by a space and/or comma.
