How to use the Ctrl+Shift+G

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Ctrl and Shift key, and while continuing to hold them, press the G key.

Ctrl+Shift+G in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera

In Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera, pressing Ctrl+Shift+G goes through the matches in the opposite direction after using the Find tool. For example, if you use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F to perform a search in the browser window, pressing Ctrl+Shift+G moves to the previous match.

Tip

Use the shortcut Ctrl+G to advanced to the next match instead of the previous match.
