Flush

Flush may refer to any of the following:

1. When describing an alignment, flush describes anything that is level with an adjacent object(s). For example, text that's flush left on a document is aligned with the left container or margin. If the text is flush right, it's aligned with the right container or margin.

2. With memory, flush describes emptying the contents of memory or a buffer.

3. A cache flush is when the CPU (central processing unit) cache is emptied.

4. With money, flush is an informal term someone or a company might use to describe having a lot of liquidity. For example, someone might say they'll be flush with cash after their next paycheck.
