OpenOffice

Sometimes abbreviated as OO, OpenOffice or OpenOffice.org (OOo) is an open source software project that is being developed by numerous developers. OpenOffice uses a dual-licensing scheme for source-code contributions and is freely available to all users and is a great alternative to Microsoft's Office. Below is a listing of the programs included with the full installation of OpenOffice.

Base - Database
Calc - Spreadsheet
Draw - Drawing program used to create logos and flow charts.
Impress - Presentation program
Math - Allows a user to create scientific formulas and equations.
Writer - Word processor and text editor.
