UFS may refer to any of the following:

Snapdragon processor

1. Short for Universal Flash Storage, UFS is a specification for smartphones, digital cameras, automotive systems, and other electronics that use flash memory. UFS aims to replace MicroSD, unify flash storage formats, improve reliability, and increase transfer speeds.

When compared to a technology with similar applications, like eMMC, UFS has a few benefits. Not only can it be removable, but it also has faster random read speeds and is more efficient with multitasking. In spite of these benefits, and with Samsung as its primary proponent, this technology has failed to gain much traction.

2. UFS can also be short for Unix file system, a file system utilized by some Unix operating systems and their variants. Like NTFS (NTFS file system) or FAT (file allocation table) in Windows, UFS controls how data on a computer is structured, stored, and retrieved.
