Full backup

A full backup is any backing up or saving all files from one storage medium to another medium. For example, backing up all files on the hard drive to a tape drive is considered a full backup. Most home users choose to do a selective backup, which is selecting only the documents, pictures, and other personal files to backup since it is faster and requires less disk space.
