As defined by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), 3GP is a compression file format for audio, video, and other multimedia for use with cell phones. It is a basic version of MPEG-4 part 14 (MP4) format. Several media players can play these movie files on your computer our recommendations are Real Player and VLC (VideoLAN Client).

These file names have the extension .3GP or .3G2.
