A one-handed keyboard is a computer keyboard that allows a user to type with only one hand. These keyboards are used by individuals with limited hand mobility or by users who require typing with one hand. A one-handed keyboard may be a chorded keyboard with only a few keys used together to type or a keyboard with all the keys. A good example of a one-handed keyboard with all its keys is the TiPY keyboard (pictured) from Boundless Assistive Technology, which is designed for both left and right hand users. This keyboard has most of the keys a normal keyboard has and access to a number pad and mouse using its custom software.
