Optimization
Optimization may refer to any of the following:
1. In computer science, optimize, optimization, program optimization, or software optimization is when the underlying code of a software system is altered so that the program runs efficiently. For example, a computer program may be optimized to use less memory, draws less power, or accomplish the same results using fewer operations. An example of where a user can optimize their computer is with the hard drive. For example, a Windows user could defrag their hard drive to decrease the access time of data being read and written to the disk.

2. With the Internet and SEO (Search Engine Optimization), optimization refers to improving the overall quality of a web page to improve its position in search results. For example, editing the alt attribute on an image tag lets you describe a picture, which helps optimize the page and makes it more accessible.
