Created in 2008, Savefrom.net was a website that allowed users to download videos and other media from entertainment websites, such as YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, and SoundCloud.
On April 16, 2020, the website posted a notice on their site that Savefrom.net was terminating its service as of April 28, 2020, because of strenuous attacks by certain US Copyright holders.
