SOJ DRAM

The term SOJ DRAM is short for Small Outline J-lead Dual In-line Memory Module. As the name implies, it's a type of memory module used in computers with DRAM (Dynamic Random-Access Memory). The "SOJ" part describes its package, meaning it has leads in the shape of the letter "J" for surface mounting on a PCB (Printed Circuit Board).
More common in older computer systems, the SOJ DRAM design was used in place of gull-wing leads to help save space on the motherboard. However, modern systems use different formats, like DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Module) or SO-DIMM (Small Outline Dual In-line Memory Module).
