Alternatively called a built-in font, an internal font is a font that is stored within a device or software system. Essentially, it is included as part of a system's resources and available for use without the need for additional installations. Internal fonts are often utilized for display system menus, dialog boxes, and other interface elements. Additionally, they are commonly found in printers, sometimes stored on a device called a font cartridge.
