Microsoft Paint is a basic software utility included with each releases of Microsoft Windows that enables users to create and change image files. Below is an example of what Microsoft Paint may look like.


Microsoft Windows 98 MSPaint

Today Microsoft Paint is capable of opening JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, and ICO files. To open Microsoft Paint you can click Start, Run, and type "mspaint" and press enter. Or click Start, Programs, Accessories, and Paint.
