Send may refer to any of the following:

1. Send is an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) command used to upload a file to a remote computer.

Sending a message.

2. In general, send refers to anything that's sent from one place to another. For example, someone may send an e-mail to a friend. In this example, the person sending the e-mail is the sender, and the person receiving the e-mail is the receiver or recipient.
